Abstract

Information and communication technologies are a reality in university classrooms. Young people live connected. Blended learning is becoming a most relevant approach in university contexts that use these environments as alternatives for developing lessons. In face-to-face teaching, technology is viewed as a complement not as a real toll for a methodological change. The purpose of this study is to increase students’ motivation and academic efficiency in the elective course “Scientific Writing” at the University of Informatics Sciences. The research methods used were the historical-logic; the documentary analysis and the pre experiment. Wicolxon or ranked sign test. B-learning is assumed from a perspective oriented towards planning its use as a changing strategy in terms of organizational, methodological and didactic aspects. Teaching processes must be conceived taking into account the need for flexibility and continuous change. It was also confirmed the advantage of using virtual communication resources, new ways of participating and constructing information.
