Abstract

In modern days, software effectiveness can be evaluated by the software quality factors such as portability, reliability, adaptability, maintainability, usability, efficiency and effectiveness. Now a days, demand of high quality software system is rising a lot, but most of the software system fits to fulfil all the requirements of the user due to lack of maintainability. Multiple parameters are go through which can help to evaluate the maintainability of the software system, but the concept through which can be calculated was too much complicated. As the calculation of maintainability is totally based on user experience that data is difficult to work on fuzzy nature. There are lot of fuzzy theories are available in the engineering field through which the maintainability can be measured even in different and improve the collection of data. ISO states that the maintainability, effectiveness, efficiency and the satisfaction of the software system are the basic criteria for maintainability. In this paper, we will try to show that the characteristics of the object oriented software system with effectiveness and efficiency of the maintainability cost was increased with some amount of the software. Here we will find the maintainability cost of the software system with the use of fuzzy logic approach named as Analytic Hierarchy Process.
