Abstract

This research studied the relationship between operations strategy (OS) and environmental management (EM) through an ISO-14000 certified industrial enterprise. The analysis concluded that EM is a new competitive priority of operations, in association with innovation, being present in its OS, but with EM considered as sustainability or triple bottom line.
