A 61 year-old female with history of genital herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2) infection; immunosuppressive treatment for myasthenia gravis and hypogammaglobulinemia complained of back pain that was followed by lower extremity weakness and difficulty urinating. She was found to have transverse myelitis based on MRI imaging of spine.
