Abstract

The radiation used in spectroscopic experiments needs to be measured. Due to the wide field of applications, radiation detectors must satisfy a large number of different constraints. Requirements can be high sensitivity, large bandwidth, high speed, high stability, etc. Hence, a large number of different concepts and technical realizations exist for the detectors.
