Abstract

The external-magnetic-field dependence of the Aharonov-Bohm oscillation in a ferromagnetic Fe19 Ni81 nanoring was measured. The amplitude of the Aharonov-Bohm oscillation is suppressed above the magnetization saturation, which can be argued in terms of the magnetic flux density in the ring body. In the vicinity of the magnetization saturation, the oscillation almost vanishes, which is relevant to the magnetic fluctuation affected by the competition between the shape magnetic anisotropy and the external magnetic field. © 2005 American Institute of Physics.
