Abstract

The author starts by reviewing papers regarding studies of solid-liquid mixing and dispersion states, essential for slurry fluid mixing, by both experimental and numerically analytical approaches, and subsequently reviews papers regarding visualization of the cavern and the flow state of slurry system fluids by CFD and ERT, as it is impossible to use an optical visualization approach for such fluids because they are usually opaque and non-light-transmitting. © 2014 The Society of Chemical Engineers.
