Abstract

The effect of conditions on the destruction of resins and asphaltenes of heavy oil in the course of cracking process is studied. It is found that the addition of WC/Ni-Cr powder contributes to a change in the direction of the cracking process and promotes an increase in the destruction of resins and asphaltenes. The optimal amount of the additive is revealed, which makes it possible to increase the yield in light fractions from 30.8 to 70.6% by weight. The influence of the amount of the additive on the changes in the content of sulfur compounds in liquid cracking products and oils is studied.
