Abstract

In this overview of the discipline of educational psychologist, we analyze the role in terms of a professional occupation, as a career and as a training option. We look at its scope and areas of professional action both in education and outside school. It is a personal reflection that can provide lines of research or can serve to establish exchanges of views, works or reflections on the professional work of educational psychologist and employability, in the case of Mexico.
