Abstract

Too work emerges from a dual need of o f fering base model for tourism researchers, and an orderly, coherent and unifonn tool of analítical concepts and procedures for students. What is basica!1y sought is the identification of the primary fur:ctions of tourism, the operatives of the existing system and the matrixes of relatians between the system as a whole and its subsystemic systems. The initial conso/idatian of the variables that interplay in the existence of the touristical fact was a/lowed through the creatian of the Tourism System (Sistema de Turisma -SISTUR), through which unique perspectives are opened in the area.
