The purpose of this study is to explain and analyse the concept of inheritance of adopted children according to Fikih Mawaris and KHI. This research will use the method of library research, namely research that takes and processes data sourced from research studies, Fikih Mawaris and KHI sources, as well as sources of adopted children theory using a normative description approach. The results showed the concept of inheritance of adopted children according to Fikih Mawaris, namely the status of adopted children cannot be linked to adoptive parents and are only entitled to grants or wills. According to KHI the status of adopted children can not be dinasabkan to adoptive parents Regarding the inheritance of adopted children, KHI provides inheritance with an alternative way, namely mandatory wills as much as 1/3 part. KHI against adopted children is very protective because adopted children can get the inheritance of adoptive parents by way of wills wajibah as much as 1/3 part. While fikih mawaris only gives grants or wills if done in writing or orally and desired by adoptive parents. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan dan menganalisis konsep kewarisan anak adopsi menutut Fikih mawaris dan KHI. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan (Library Research) yaitu penelitian yang mengambil dan mengolah data yang bersumber dari kajian penelitian, sumber-sumber Fikih Mawaris dan KHI, serta sumber-sumber teori anak adopsi menggunakan pendekatan deskripsi normatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan konsep waris anak adopsi menurut Fikih Mawaris yaitu status anak adopsi tidak dapat dinasabkan kepada orang tua angkat dan hanya berhak mendapatkan hibah atau wasiat. Menurut KHI status anak adopsi tidak dapat dinasabkan kepada orang tua angkatnya Mengenai waris anak adopsi, KHI memberikan warisan dengan jalan alternatif yaitu wasiat wajibah sebanyak banyaknya 1/3 bagian. KHI terhadap anak adopsi sangat memberikan perlindungan karena anak adopsi dapat memperoleh harta peninggalan orang tua angkat dengan jalan wasiat wajibah sebanyak banyaknya 1/3 bagian. Sedangkan fikih mawaris hanya memberikan hibah atau wasiat jikalau dilakukan secara tertulis atau lisan dan dikehendaki oleh orang tua angkat.
