The patient and surgical site were identified and marked. The patient underwent anesthesia per the anesthesia team. The patient was positioned supine on the fracture table with the involved hip in zero degree of extension and 157° of internal rotation. The contralateral lower extremity was abducted with the hip and the knee flexed. The image intensifier was brought in between the two lower extremities. Good visualization of the femoral head was confirmed on both anteroposterior and lateral views.
