Abstract

Outlines the input made by stoichiometry in ecosystem analysis, and indicates how such knowledge of proportions of essential elements in an organism's tissues can be extrapolated to consider nutrient limitation, trophic structure and efficiency, and ecosystem stability and diversity. -P.J.Jarvis
