Creating public space in wroclaws urban housing environment

Abstract

Despite the passage of time the polands housing built in panel technology is not modernized sufficiently. More and more interesting examples from abroad appears, which shows how this kind of housing can be transformed. Actions should be carried out in three areas, starting from town-planning and architectural transformations (macro scale), thru the neighborhood spaces transformation (mezo scale) to the individual functional-spatial flats transformation (micro scale). © 2013 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
