Abstract
Examines adolescent drinking by looking firstly at its definition and measurement, and secondly at the prevalence of alcohol use and abuse of White and minority adolescents. Finally, we will examine risk factors that identify which adolescents are likely to have alcohol problems, and the preventive interventions that attempt to reduce alcohol abuse by minimizing these risks.
