Abstract

The public's attention is drawn to astronomy whenever solar eclipse-partial, annular, or total-is visible, and we must take advantage of the opportunity to Each about the nature of science; the ability of astronomers to predict and analyze distant bodies and events, and the value of scientific research. We must also instruct people how to watch the partial and annular phases safely and that the total phase is not harmful.
