Abstract

In this paper a tool to manage Active Directory users in the Network Management Department at the University of Ciego de Avila ``Maximo Gomez Baez{''} (UNICA) is exposed. Network administrators use the Active Directory (AD) to operate network elements of great importance. An important aspect in the DA is managing users and groups. Through a study it was found in the only limitations exist for the aforementioned management. For these reasons it became necessary to develop a system for user management of AD (FADManager), which is a Web application where used programming languages such as JavaScript and PHP v5.3, v2 as the Apache Web server, the framework ExtJS v4.2 (for the design of interfaces), CodeIgniter v2.1.3 (framework for PHP) and OOH4RIA Tool that supports the OOH4RIA methodology. The validity of the proposed system using software testing, quality analysis software using the ISO 9126 standard and the criterion of specialists results corroborate the effectiveness of FAD threw Manager.
