Abstract

In recent years, the wireless communication network supported by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has attracted extensive attention due to its high channel gain. At the same time, simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) is used in many scenarios because of its efficient information transmission capability. In this paper, we investigate SWIPT in UAV-based network, where each UAV equipped with a transmitter transfers energy and transmits information simultaneously to the ground node. The objective is to maximize the sum of information rate obtained by all nodes under the condition of ensuring the minimum energy requirement of each node and UAV energy constraint. In order to solve the complex multiple variable optimization problem, we first transform the problem into two sub-problems, and then solve the problem above through the multi-variable alternative optimization algorithm. Simulation results show that the efficiency of power transferring and information transmitting of UAVs to ground nodes is improved through optimization.
