Abstract

Adolesence is a period of transition that result in sexual function that will cause an impulse to behave sexually in adolescence. Somebehavior patterns begin to form a person including self identity, sexual maturity and the courage to conduct risk behavior. The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors affecting the sexual behavior of high school adolescent at SMA Negeri 9 Luwu. The type of research with cross sectional study design. The population of this research was all students of SMA Negeri 9 Luwu totally 402 students, that is class 1 136 students, class 2 136 student and class 3 130 students with a large sample of 80 respondents. The techniques in this research using stratified random sampling method, mesuring tool using questioner. The data analysis used in univariat test to know the characteristics of respondents, bevariates with chi square and multivariates with logistic regression test. Based on the results, knowledge with p 0,003, parents control with p 0,002, the influence of teenage friends with p 0,003, and social media exposure with p 0,001 are affecting factors the sexual behavior of teenagers of SMA Negeri 9 Luwu, while the intensity of the use of social media with p 0,732 is not an influencing factor. Based on multivariate analysis, the effect of teenage friends and social media are exposure to be the most influenced factors. Advise : for teenagers to avoid risk sexual behavior, should have knowledge and appropriate knowledge, parents control, have a good and positive friends and can sorte and filter properly with such information resources.
