This work aimed to design a virtual learning environment mediated by the learning management system (SGA) Moodle, as a support tool for teaching mathematics at the secondary education. In addition, it seeks to innovate in this educational level in order to boost teaching mathematics and to provide learners with a more active role, engaging in interactive mathematical exercises and where the resources employed will capture their attention, motivate and interest them to keep on learning about the different topics that make up the course, with their teacher and peers. Through the use of the SGA students manage to build a meaningful learning and that the knowledge acquired and developed math skills constitute a reference enabling them to continue with their training in the area of the mathematics in later grades.
