In this paper we study the impact of programs meant to spread the use of ICTS for teaching purposes in Chile. In particular, we measure the impact of two initiatives of the Ministry of Education-"Funds for Broadband" (2006-2010) and "ICT in Classroom" (2007-2011)-, on the students' standardized tests performance in Language and Math, established by the Education Quality Measurement System (SIMCE), and available since 1998. The results show that the programs have not had a significant impact, neither individually or jointly, on the students' performances, however, it was possible to identify positive and significant effects of ICT in Classroom on specific groups in language, but not in math.
