Abstract

Thermoelectric generators using direct conversion of the heat generated in a gas burner into electricity by means of semiconductor thermocouples are now currently used for powering electronic equipment in remote locations. In addition to a high reliability and a reduced maintenance, they now represent the most economic autonomous power source in the 10 to 500 W range.
