Abstract
The second to fourth sessions of the first two days of the workshop were focused on the computational and analytical methods in AM. Prof. Ernst Rank (Technische Universität München), Prof. Weidong Huang (Northwestern Polytechnical University), Prof. Feng Lin (Tsinghua University), Prof. Chunze Yan (Huazhong University of Science and Technology), Dr. Alonso Peralta (Honeywell Aerospace Inc.), Prof. Huiling Duan (Peking University), Prof. Michele Chiumenti (Technical University of Catalonia), Prof. Lars-Erik Lindgren (Luleå University of Technology), Prof. Zhao Zhang (Dalian University of Technology) respectively, discussed research results, challenges and future directions related to this topic.
