Abstract

Tourism is an information intensive industry that is dependable on providing of information to customers and facilitating of purchase decisions. Information and communication technologies using attributes may change the structure of an industry and in the process of change may create new business opportunities [1]. In 2012 there was realized research, focused on efficiency management through ICT using at sample, consisted from 53 tourism enterprises in Slovakia. Research results had been obtained through statistical tests and they are reflection of present situation in area of tourism in Slovakia from the view of ICT using. Due to such results we can expect in the future companies, using PC daily will prevail and it could bring future development of tourism in Slovakia.
