Abstract

The recent development in blockchain gives the credit to the huge popularity of Bitcoin. The blockchain's capability to offer a transparent data utilization and sharing opportunity has cultivated an increasing number of blockchain-based schemes have been proposed. A blockchain is deemed as a reliable platform and all transactions are recorded in blocks that are chained together via cryptographic hashes. The growing chain makes it computationally difficult to alter an existing block without being detected. Blockchain allows flexible access and it could be adopted to realize privacy-preserving property, e.g., through the use of anonymous accounts. Some cryptocurrency systems protect the real identity of users by permitting them to register an anonymous account.
