Evolution, development and evaluation of eco-transportation in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area

Abstract

Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is one of the regions with the highest degree of openness and the strongest economic vitality in China. In this paper, the remote sensing ecological index (RSEI) model is used to calculate the Ecological Traffic footprint of the Greater Bay area of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao, and the remote sensing data of the Greater Bay area of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao is used to analyse and evaluate the development and evolution of Ecological Traffic in the Greater Bay area of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao. The results show that the ecological traffic environment of the Greater Bay area of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao is good, and it is getting better. The poor areas are mainly concentrated in the central region, which is also improving.
