Abstract

This paper presents the lessons learned from a collection of 18 different experiences of implementing online skill-based learning management systems and collaborative environments in higher education and enterprises. These experiences were collected in order to guide the design and implementation of a new internet-based service, OpenScout, which aims to help learners find, improve and share open content for management education and training. © 2010 Springer-Verlag.
