Abstract

Current paper briefly covers a historical background [28,32,33] and presents a general review of basic refrigeration equipment and systems with respect to the application of thermodynamic analysis to mechanical compression and non-mechanical refrigeration cycles, the two most common methods of thermal energy transfer.
