Abstract

The use of banners and a kite sculpture to provide ceiling art at a new public library in Rochester, Minnesota, is described. Banner and kite artist Joann G. Weber designed a ceiling installation consisting of 14 separate multi-coloured fabric pieces, centring on a kite sculpture of Pegasus the winged horse of Greek mythology.
