The world is witnessing a comprehensive change for all lifestyles as a result of nanotechnology, which caused revolution in the field of finishing materials it has become one of the important tools for the architect in his buildings to achieve his ideas and strive to improve the efficiency of the energy system. To reach an integrated system for a sustainable Nano-building, Nanotechnology has provided many applications that helped the development of architecture by providing solutions for many materials, Non-structural (insulation materials - coatings - glass...) and others. The quest to improve the efficiency of the energy system in terms of rationalizing the energy consumed to cool interior spaces, in addition to improving and removing environmental pollution. Nano-thermal insulation is helping to improve the lives of millions of people in developing countries by providing them with materials with distinctive properties that help in thermal insulation of the building. Nano materials can be used in the cladding of buildings to contribute to achieve thermal comfort for users as one of the principles for sustainability "achieving economic specially in countries suffering from. The research paper sheds light on the applications of nanotechnology in the field of energy efficiency of through an analytical study for different projects cases.
