Abstract

Students in special education schools in Hebei Province are with poorer sports consciousness at present. In sports cognition, their understanding of scientific meaning of health is not comprehensive enough with onesidedness and limitation, and that of objectives, significance, and values of sports is not deep enough; in sports feelings, the respondents' attitude of participation in sports is positive, yet their behaviors lag. The overall frequency of sports is comparably low; they haven't formed the good exercise habit and lacked the consciousness and initiative of physical exercise; the sports consciousness is comparably weak, and the sports consciousness hasn't been formed; they can't actively participate in the physical exercise for a long period. © 2012 Springer-Verlag GmbH Berlin Heidelberg.
