Glenoid labrum injuries are commonly encountered when caring for the overhead athlete. This chapter will elucidate the initial approach to assessing patients with suspected labral pathology along with the various treatment options currently used. In addition, surgical tips and tricks and the current philosophical trends in regard to treatment of labral tears will be discussed. Furthermore, this chapter will describe the latest technological and surgical modalities that surgeons have available to tackle these challenging injuries.
