This research was conducted because researchers wanted to see Generation Z's (Gen Z) perceptions of the statement "Work According to Passion" which is widely discussed on social media. Reporting from katadata.id, Gen Z is the largest internet user in Indonesia, with almost 40 million people. Social media can be accessed by various groups of people, one of them is teenagers or Gen Z. With social media, information can develop rapidly, so that it can create different perceptions for everyone. The purpose of conducting this research is to find out Gen Z's perception of the statement "Work According to Passion" and as a reference when Gen Z chooses a profession. This research approach is quantitative with descriptive statistical data processing techniques to find the average value of Gen Z perceptions. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling (SRS) with a total of 130 respondents. The results of this study show that the highest average result is in the statement "I want a job that matches my passion," and the lowest average result is the statement "Work According to Passion," which is a pressure for me. It can be concluded that the results of Gen Z perceptions show that the majority of Gen Z want to be able to work according to their passion. Dilansir dari katadata.id, Gen Z merupakan pengguna internet terbanyak di Indonesia yaitu hampir 40 juta jiwa. Media sosial dapat diakses oleh beragam kalangan masyarakat, salah satunya remaja atau Gen Z. Dengan adanya media sosial, informasi dapat berkembang dengan pesat, sehingga hal tersebut dapat menciptakan persepsi yang berbeda di setiap orang. Adapun tujuan dari dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi Gen Z terhadap pernyataan “Kerja Sesuai Passion” serta sebagai acuan ketika Gen Z menentukan profesi. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik pengolahan data statistik deskriptif untuk mencari nilai rata-rata dari persepsi Gen Z. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling (SRS) dengan jumlah sebanyak 130 responden. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa hasil hitung rata-rata tertinggi yaitu ada pada pernyataan “Saya menginginkan pekerjaan yang sesuai dengan passion saya” dan hasil hitung rata-rata terendah dengan pernyataan ‘Kerja Sesuai Passion’ merupakan tekanan bagi saya”. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil persepsi Gen Z menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas Gen Z menginginkan untuk dapat bekerja sesuai dengan passion.
