Abstract

This paper bridges the gap between the theory of learning objects and real applications. We take learning objects at random from the repositories of Research Channel that is a nonprofits media and technology organization that connects a global audience with the research and academic institutions whose developments, insights and discoveries affect our lives and futures. We apply a framework for the evaluation of objects (Learning Objects). The main objective is to present cases of study of the implementation of the model Framework for Learning Object Evaluation (FLOE). In these cases of study the quality of the Learning Objects is evaluated through four aspects: positive quality, negative quality, delivery and formative quality. © 2007 Springer.
