The patient was identified and the site of surgery con fi rmed. Anesthesia was induced. Prophylactic IV antibiotics were administered. The patient was placed supine on a radiolucent operating table, a padded calf tourniquet was placed, the foot was shaved, a bump was placed under the ipsilateral hip, and all bony prominences were padded. The patient was then prepped and draped. Tourniquet was inflated to 300 mmHg.
