Abstract

Process systems are sorted according to the association form between process logics and business logics in this paper. The term of process service is defined with the view of system service. Then, a new process model is presented according to the goal of process service. The composition and the structure of process service model are different form those of workflow. All of the elements have strict formalized definitions. Business process can be expressed more clearly and flexibly now. In the end, an application instance is used to illustrate the function of process service model. © 2011 Springer-Verlag.
