Abstract

Service networks represent a flexible way for delivering services to customers. In earlier work, we have applied the e3 -value methodology to conceptually model such networks. This paper, however, presents an approach for composing Service Value Networks (SVNs) based on customer and supplier perspectives. A broker is in charge of composing a SVN that reflects not only customer desires but also supplier offerings. Moreover, the application of using real-world services is shown by means of a case study. Finally, we provide some reflections as well as future lines of research. © 2011 Springer-Verlag.
