Abstract

Today, countless benchmarks and definitions of best practice have emerged in Technology Information and various business areas. Civil construction is a service that revolves around the hiring and provision of other services. A civil construction work is a construction service and becomes a construction project when a start, an end and a deliverable is defined. This article presents an integrated model proposal for managing projects and services of companies providing civil construction services. It has been generated through a match between the service management lifecycle exposed in ITIL v3 and the groups of processes exposed in PMBOK and ISO 21500. The results of applying this proposal in a real project management are presented.
