Abstract

Generally, annotation in a paper document environment refers to underlining important sentences, drawing symbols such as stars or adding comments to the original document for additional explanation. In this paper, we propose automatic generation techniques for controlling a 3D avatar using user annotation. Via the proposed approach, even users who have no knowledge of markup language or script language can use the avatar easily. © 2008 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
