Abstract

This document aims to examine three cases of high concentration of rights and uses of groundwater in Mexico. For this the writing is structured in four sections. The first is the introduction where it is defined what is meant by water and the context of use and measurement of groundwater in Mexico is presented. The second one raises the ways in which underground water has been concentrated in Mexico, which have been the formal and informal mechanisms. The third, studies three cases of water concentration in Mexico, the first is the case of groundwater concentration for real estate agencies in the State of Mexico, the second the case of water in the industrial zone of San Luis Potosí and the third the case of groundwater concentration for the beer industry, which occurs in much of the Mexican territory. Finally are presented the conclusions.
