Abstract

This chapter discusses the relationship between workplace dignity and individualization at work, which can be described as a paradox. The current chapter discusses how workplace dignity is defined in terms of individuality and individualization, establishes both an analysis of the underlying assumptions in contemporary management research considering the role of individualism, and presents a way forward in terms of describing the relation proper between workplace dignity and individualization.
