Abstract

The principal sources of radioactivity, as measured by airborne survey, are identified. Man-made sources, such as nuclear power plants are clearly identifiable as are some geological sources. Cosmic radiation, approximately one-third of the natural exposure in Canada, is roughly constant: it is the terrestrial source which varies locally.-D.A.Lewis
