Abstract

This paper examines the case for using self organizing systems in elements of infrastructures for the operation of Agents, Autonomous Agents and Service Orientated Systems. An overview of the use of self organizing systems in different elements of the infrastructures of an agent based system is provided. There is also a discussion of the ways in which these techniques can be brought into the mainstream of agent implementation and deployment. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2004.
