Abstract

This article presents the automated validation test approach used by Alcatel Transport Automation Systems in Spain for the validation of a product line of railway traffic control systems. The strategy adopted by the validation team bases its success on two key points: a methodology, which defines an operational workflow from the requirements to the execution of tests; and the reusability for the different members of the product line.
