Concluding Remarks

Abstract

In just over three centuries, through a scientific revolution, mankind became scientists with an understanding of continuum phenomena, solids, fluids, thermodynamics and other manifestations of nature that existed around them. Enabled by these sciences, a second revolution consisted of making stone tools to elevate man over the rest of the animal kingdom and to replace human labor with animal labor. The third revolution replaced animal labor by machines.
