Abstract

Clarifies the meaning of aggression within the context of the behavioral sciences. Behavioral observation is useful for studying sport-related aggressive behavior. In the following sections, I review observational methodologies for studying sport-specific aggression and comment about their strengths and contribution to behavioral sport psychology.
