Abstract

VoIP services need, as other application services do, monitoring and abnormal traffic detection function. However, existing IP-based traffic analysis and detection technique is not appropriate for VoIP. This paper proposes traffic analysis technique that takes the characteristics of VoIP application layer into consideration, and a system which detects abnormal VoIP traffic. © 2011 Springer-Verlag.
