Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To assess the effects of systemic treatments (including corticosteroids, NSAIDS, immunomodulators, and monoclonal antibodies), alone or in combination, compared to placebo or other systemic or topical treatment, for severe atopic and vernal keratoconjunctivitis (AKC and VKC) in children and young people up to the age of 16 years.
