Abstract

An essay on the importance of program integrity in evaluation research is presented. Topics covered include the highlights of the article "Importance of program integrity: Outcome evaluation of a gender-responsive, cognitive-behavioral program for female offenders" by Grant Duwe and Valerie Clark, the effectiveness of the "Moving On" program, and the effective implementation of evidence-based practices (EBPs) in the criminal justice system.
