Abstract

The solution to many problems depends upon accurate estimates of rainfall. This is a study of the variation of observed rainfall over several areas as related to the density of rain gages. Observed daily, monthly, and mean rainfall are each considered as a function of rain gage density. © 1970 Taylor and Francis Group, LLC.
